Abstract

  In long-distance Wireless Power Transfer (WPT), large receiving module is necessary for efficient transfer. The use of millimeter-wave (MMW) enables us to improve beam convergence and get high power density, which leads to downsizing of rectenna in receiving the same power as microwave. In this research, a W-band 94 GHz rectenna was developed aiming at high power WPT. We have a plan to develop a rectenna at 94 GHz. Characteristics of a single-series rectifier, a 16-element antenna array, and rectenna integrating them were reported.
