For single layer silicene, no Landau level sequences appear in the tunneling spectra under the magnetic field up to 7T, and DFT calculations show that the electronic structure is modified by the hybridization between the Si and Ag atoms. For multilayer silicene, based on the interference patterns observed by the mapping of differential conductance, a parabolic band was observed in the wide energy range, suggesting that the characteristic of Dirac fermion is also quenched.
