The metal-sprayed surface and hot-dip galvanized surface are often applied to high strength bolted joints and bolts in those joints are tightened by turn-of-nut method. However, it is still not enough clear how much axial force is induced into the bolts. In this paper, we investigated characteristics of induced axial force by literature search in high strength bolted joints using turn-of-nut method.
