When caffeine, diuretine and theophyllinum natrioaceticum were introduced intravenously in a sufficient dose, a definite acceleration of epinephrine discharge was observed in the etherized dog provided with the cava pocket. A remarkable acceleration was detected in a few cases. After splanchnectomy the acceleration failed to occur.
About this Journal The Tohoku Journal of Experimental Medicine (TJEM) was founded in 1920
by professors of Tohoku Imperial University, Medical School.
