Abstract
Our early experiments with coarse yakriton for detoxication of the dysenteric toxin (of bacillus Shiga) failed to reveal any definite relation between the intoxication and the yakritisation. Our later experiments with purified yakriton showed that repeated yakritisation with a rather large number of units of yakriton was effectual for the detoxication of dysenteric poisoning, though the best way of yakritisation for the purpose has not yet been studied.
