Abstract
In the rabbit, adrenalin given intravenously in small doses (0.001 mgrm. per kilo body weight) as well as in large doses (0.05-0.1 mgrm. per kilo) retards the coagulation time of blood, while it hastens clotting in over half the cases when medium doses (0.01-0.03 mgrm. per kilo) are injected.
The blood in the bilaterally splanchnectomized rabbit clots more prompty than that in the normal one.
