A Study on Present Situation of Sightseeing Railway

Abstract

Sightseeing Railway, mainly cable car still plays a significant role as access mode to pleasure spot. However owing to motorization and diversification of leisure, their financial environment is extremely severe. And some lines were forced to a stop. This paper reports their peculiarity of operation and correlation of passenger demand and customer traffic. I suggest a wish for maintain or activation of Sightseeing Railway.
