Hub/transit airports have a competition with each other for international transit passengers when they need to do. This study focuses on long-haul (more than 14 hours) international transit flights between North America and Southeast/South Asia through East Asian global hub airports. Firstly, the current transit passenger situation among global hub airports is identified. Secondly, possible factors affecting transit passengers’ flight choice are selected and their weight are estimated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP).
