Abstract
“Oukan” was established in order to create a forum where scientists and engineers of
different disciplines gather and collaborate for better creation of products for society. At this moment,
different disciplines cannot be integrated in scientific manner but done empirically, thus getting
fraught with risks such as design with less optimality, overlook of potential danger, unexpected outbreak
of burden to environment and creation of unnecessary things. In the present paper, we discuss
human motivation (social wish) for creating knowledge which has been widely spread among people
and might have guided the formation of necessary knowledge into diversified disciplines. It will be
shown that the study on social wish will mitigate those risks.
