On the Separating Redundancy of Ternary Golay Codes

Abstract

Let G₁₁ (resp., G₁₂) be the ternary Golay code of length 11 (resp., 12). In this letter, we investigate the separating redundancies of G₁₁ and G₁₂. In particular, we determine the values of s_l(G₁₁) for l = 1, 3, 4 and s_l(G₁₂) for l = 1, 4, 5, where s_l(G₁₁) (resp., s_l(G₁₂)) is the l-th separating redundancy of G₁₁ (resp., G₁₂). We also provide lower and upper bounds on s₂(G₁₁), s₂(G₁₂), and s₃(G₁₂).
