抄録

There is a close relation between wear sensations and water content of fabrics. The microclimate within clothing of wet fabrics has been examined on the simulator. The results are summarized as follows :
(1) The relative humidity within clothing of knitted fabrics of cotton, wool, polyester and acrylic fibers containing water shows similar tendency. The initial relative humidity within clothing are high level.
(2) The relative humidity within clothing falls so early as a small quantity of water content.
(3) The relative humidity within clothing reaches the staturated state so early when the environmental temperature is high.
(4) The relative humidity within clothing of the hydrophilic fiberes falls so early. This can be explained well by the critical moisture content of drying properties.
