A Review of Recent Advances in Superlubricity

In the past ten years, the scope of influence of tribology in various fields has been expanded, and the research activities related to superlubricity have also increased greatly. The latest development of superlubricity in recent three years is summarized and the future research direction is prospected. Different aspects of superlubricity have been overviewed. As a highly interdisciplinary field, superlubricity's studies are widely distributed among various disciplines, and there are many aspects of superlubricity that are not covered in this review. Despite the limitations, our group hoped that the overview will bring together recent outstanding researches and be of benefit to the growing number of tribology researchers.
