It was observed that the monomolecular reaction constant (K) of thiamine destruction by the supernatant of culture medium of Bacillus aneurinolyticus (pH 6.5,40℃, 10 min.) was proportionated to the amount of thiaminase. But in respect of the cell suspension, the amount of thiamine destroyed was relatively in proportion to the amount of the cells.
