Abstract
In this communication, it was described the influence of the amount of dietary protein or choline chloride upon the delay of the growth of young rats and the rise of P/N ratio of their hepatic lipid fraction, provoked by the successive dosage of the excess myoinositol. Observed results indicated that the elevation of casein contents in the diet from 22% to 30% was able not only to suppress the rise of P/N ratio of the liver lipids, but also to recover the growth suppressing effect of the excess dietary myoinositol. Elevation of choline dosage also suppressed the rise of P/N ratio. From these facts, discussions were made on the nutritional role of myoinositol.
