Abstract
Several reports stated that K showed the anti-inflammatory effect, while others reported that K alone did not show the anti-inflammatory effect. K_1,K_2,K_3,K_4 and CoQ were tested for anti-inflammatory action by detailed analysis in order to investigate whether K exerts any influences on the inflammation. The anti-inflammatory effect of K was found or did not found according to kinds of K, experimental methodss or phlogists. It is thought that the discrepancy of the above-mentioned reports are caused by investigation under different condition or different kinds of K. Because K have proved to be effective or ineffective on the inflammation due to experimental condition, it could not be deniable that K have the anti-inflammatory effect, although it was not demonstrated to support positively the effect of K. From the results, it may be not considered that K is valuable of clinical usage as anti-inflammatory agent.
