Investigations on the changes of the vitamin B_<12> content with progress of time in the activated sludge which was sampled at an interval of 4 hours within a day showed that there was no significant difference in the vitamin B_<12> content among the samples from the viewpoint of industrial raw material of vitamin B_<12>.
