抄録
The heart, iris and spleen fragments of chicken embryo were cultured in Carrel's flask in the media containing 0.01γ to 1000γ of glutamylcholine in millilitre. The heart and iris fragments were separated from eggs incubated for 9 to 10 days, and the spleen fragments from those incubated for 16 days. The growth of the fragments was measured every 24 hours by means of Edinger's vertical projectoscope and the planimeter to indicate the relative growth of each fragment. The growth of the heart and iris fragments were inhibited with concentrations of 5γ/ml and higher, stimulated with 0.5γ/ml to 0.1γ/ml and indifferent with 0.01γ/ml. The growth of the spleen fragment was inhibited with all the concentrations of glutamylcholine except for 0.01γ/ml.
