The crystal structure of a hexahydrobenzo[c]phenanthridine-type alkaloid (d)-11-oxo-corynoline (1), 5b,6,7,12b,13,14-hexahydro-5b,13-dimethyl-[1,3]benzodioxolo[5,6-c]1,3-dioxolo[4,5-i] phenanthridine-6-one, is reported here. The crystal is orthorhombic, space group P212121 with a = 7.8481(6)Å, b = 10.1203(8)Å, c = 21.573(2)Å, and Z = 4.
