Abstract
Aqueous extract of Heterochordaria abietina (RUPR.) SETCH. ET GARDN. (Chordariaceae) was found to contain lamine (trimethyl-(5-amino-5-carboxypentyl) ammonium), yuaine (tetrahydro-1, 4-thiazine-3-carboxylic acid 1-oxide), cystathionine, alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, lysine, proline, tyrosine, 2-aminoethanol, and choline. Presence of cystine, glycine, glutamine, isoleucine, leucine, phenylalanine, serine, threonine, and valine was also detected.
