植物成分の抽出に関する研究(その1) : 茶葉からのカフェイン抽出

抄録

Examination was made on the extraction of caffeine from Japanese tea-leaves in water, assuming three mechanisms of extraction from plants ; washing extraction, diffusional extraction, and capillary extraction. It was concluded from the experimental results that these three mechanisms should exist together in the case of tea-leaves. Mass transfer coefficients for each case were determined at 37° under various agitation conditions and the values were : kw=2.07-6.57×10^-7cm/sec for washing, K_L=2.12×10^-7cm/sec for diffusion, K_h=0.01-3.58×10^-7cm/sec for capillary extraction.
