Benzocycloheptathiazole(第5報) : 2-Mercapto-9,10-dihydro-8H-benzo[4,5]cyclohepta[d]thiazoleおよびその誘導体の合成

2-Mercapto-9, 10-dihydro-8H-benzo [4, 5] cyclohepta [d] thiazole (II) was prepared from 6-bromobenzocyclohepten-5-one, and the 3-methyl, 3-ethyl, and 3-isdpropyl derivatives of II and thiazolin-2-one (VIII) were also prepared. Several kinds of S-substituted derivatives of II and two kinds of monomethine cyanine were prepared from the methiodide of the S-methyl derivative. Reaction of 2-methylsulfonyl derivative (IIIb) with hydrazine afforded 2-hydrazino derivative. Structures of the intermediates formed during the preparation of 3-alkyl derivatives and of II were discussed front the evidence of ultraviolet, infrared, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectra.
