1) The authors found a judo expert aged 19 years who had a bundle branch block, and examined it thoroughly. 2) In his phonocardiogram diastolic murmur and so-called "Pressstrahlgerausch" in the systolic phase were found. 3) In his electrocardiogram beside a bundle branch block, short PQ interval and variation of P wave (at the 3rd lead) were found. 4) From the above stated facts this case was diagnosed as a defectum septi ventriculorum pars membranacea, that is "Maladie de Roger." 5) As to the short PQ interval, Takayasu explained that it is due to the fact that the sino-Tawara's bundle is complete and the sino-auricular bundles are damaged.

The author measured the strength of the photoelectric effect of the citrated human blood. The photoelectric effect of the citrated blood of the patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is far weaker than that of the citrated blood of healthy persons when the comparison is taken using the light longer than 2500A. It is considerable that the quantity of albumin in blood may cause the inequality of the strength of the photoelectric effect. This reasoning is proved by the fact that the inequality is not distinct if the wave length of the light source is not restricted, because albumin is the only photoelectrically active substance by long visible rays among the ingredients of blood. 1) The author described the cases which have a normal form of P wave, short PQ interval and prolonged QRS group, and which have normal form of P, short PQ interval and normal QRS group. 2) Among 7500 electrocardiograms which were recorded in the past four years in the Mashimo clinic, there were 12 cases like the former, and 8 cases like the latter. 3) The explanation given by Wolferth & Wood or Zarday to the cases in which the electrocardiogram have a normal form of P wave, short PQ and prolonged QRS group, (that is due to the Kent's bundle, the short path between the right auricle and the right ventricle.) may be not correct, because some of these cases have forms of right bundle branch block. 4) When we accept the existence of the intraauricular special muscle system, above stated two kind of cases are well explained, considering that the sino- Tawara's bnndle is complete and the sinoauricular bundles are half damaged. 5) In these cases the fact that P wave has the normal form in spite of this damage the sinoauricular stimulus conduction system must be damaged as a whole, and so the damage must be the beginning of the system. 6) The author explained that the above stated thought is not incorrect, analysing the cases ef Hohmann & Sherf and Zarday.
