The research problems discussed here are concerned with purposes of evaluation and basic studies devoted to predictors of creativity. The concept of potential creativit has received much attention in finding new components of human ability to revise the intelligent test. Practical methods and devises that help professional workers in identifying creative persons should be mentioned. Multi-dimentional attitudes survey may be added to the prediction formulas. The evaluation of system performance becomes necessary. A tentative description of the relationships between prediction of success and evaluation of performance is given.
It is an effective means to decrease the personnel number of team decision-making as one of the ways to meet the needs of the reduction of decision-making time. On the other hand, if the personnel number is too little, it has a possibility not to obtain good results. This paper shows a model of decision-making time as the sum of theme understanding time and opinion adjustment time. Factors of the model are the personnel number, the disconcordance index of opinions and the learning phenomenon. This model almost coincides with theoretical curve.
Face method-a figurative representation of multivariate data-originally developed by H. Chernoff has been applied in a lot of fields. However, face method has the difficulty of efficiently assigning multivariate data components to respective facial features of face pattern(variables assignment), and the efficiency of the assignment determines the accuracy of the results of face method. For the moment owing to the absence of a developed method, the assignment is generally based on heuristic trial. In this paper, when certain multivariate data are known to have involved some groups, a search algorithm for an assignment method is proposed to separate psychometrical distances among facial expressions represented by the data of some groups, that is, to classify the differences among the groups. The algorithm is applied to the fossil data of Chernoff's study and its efficiency is tested.
The auther tries to estimate age of a man from his answers to several questions in a social survey using the method of Hayashi's Quantification I. Two data, Research Japanese National Character(1978)and Survey of Ordinary Life(1976, 1978), were used. The computation was done for male and for female separately. Multiple correlation coefficients were 0.64(male), 0.70(female)for the former case and 0.57(male), 0.67(female)for the latter case.
