This paper deals with an algorithm of extracting nuclear and membrane for diagnosis using breast cancer images. It is important to extract nuclei and membranes exactly one by one from cell images, in order to classify the subtype by clinicopathological indexes. Breast cancer is classified into four disease subtypes by expression of three proteins (ER, PgR, HER2). Since ER and PgR develop in nuclei and HER2 develops in membranes, the development is important factor for diagnosis. At present, the proteinic expressional level of specimen materials is visually judged by cytotechnologists. Therefore, we propose the methods of extracting nucleus by applying contour tracking and using membrane, and membrane by top-hat filter and canny filter. We use H-stained images, DAB-stained images and multiple immunostaining cell images. By our proposed methods, we can extract nuclei about 80% and membranes 60% both of two images.

Humans recognize emotions from nonverbal clues such as voice quality and diversity of utterances, not the words themselves. Such nonverbal element is called "Paralanguage". In a previous study, we investigated utterance recognition by focusing on lip movements. However, we have seen decrease of the utterance recognition rate because of individual variation. Then, we have investigated utterance training based on lip movements to improve recognition rate and individual’s utterance. On the other hand, our eyes are used as predominant information in our daily life for instance, energetic and glaze over. In these processes, we have experienced that the lips opened differently due to daily physical condition and fatigue. From this experience we thought that physical condition can be evaluated psychophysically from image information such as eyes and lip movements. Our final goal of this research is early detection of diseases and appropriate treatment in medical and nursing care workplaces using our lip movement and eye movement analyzer. This time, subjects had given an easy calculation task to acquire involuntary eye movement. Also, subjects uttered Japanese sentences that are aimed to improve people's utterance. CFF value was used for check the visual fatigue. We discuss these results in this paper.

Analysis of psychological / physiological data during driving was carried out for the purpose of grasping the internal state of the driver when delegating authority from the automatic driving to the driver from the awakening degree and attentiveness during driving to prevent doze driving and irrational driving has been done. We made an experiment by hypothesizing that changes in gazing points before and after signs will occur by noticing road signs and looking at them during driving. First, we performed an experiment using a highly accurate eye movement measuring device, and showed that the standard deviation of eye movement during gaze increases before and after passing through the sign. Next, with respect to a simple type eye movement measurement apparatus which is also easy to apply to on-vehicle mounting, after confirming its accuracy, a similar experiment is carried out, and similarly, the standard deviation of the eye movement during gaze is increased before and after the passage of the sign Was confirmed. From the above results, we showed the possibility of using eye movement during gaze as an evaluation method of attention state during driving.

We simulate the strategy formulation in computer business game and evaluate its effect. We set up management tasks for games where price and advertisement expenditure are set and compete for sales profit at four companies, some strategies to realize management tasks are set up, what kind of results are obtained with what strategy Trial and error by simulation. The management task sets three issues to achieve each target value for the current account rate as an indicator of safety and the profit margin as the index of profitability. Considering the strategy to achieve three tasks, we simulated seven combinations of companies that adopted one of the respective strategies. As a result, we were able to explore the superiority of each strategy and the compatibility between strategies by combining strategies. Simulation experiments are thought to be useful for formulating parameters necessary for constructing human-computer versus computer-aided simulation games in the future.
