In this paper, I address the research report of two so-called paramormal phenomena in South India, leaves of Agasthiya (Agasthiya Nadi) and a miracle of a pendant head. It is alleged that the leaves of Agasthiya written some thousands of years ago are the prophecy for each individual guest. It is said that, only using a person's finger-print, his/her leaf is looked for and his/her private information including family member's names, his/her past and future, are in advantce printed in the leaf.

The miracle of a pendant head is a kind of materialization, becatuse the pendant head produces the liquid like sweet honey (sacred honey). What has been demonstrated in this research for the leaves of Agasthiya is that it is very dubious as paranormal phenomenon. Rather than paranormal phenomenon, it is a kind of tricky horoscope using blind-spot of the mind.

For the miracle pendant head, I could not confirm any materialization of the liquid in the pendant head. I encountered difficulty when I tried to do futher examination, because of the pendant owner's refusal for scientific study.

Two different sets of ESP experiment in a mountain-top situation were accomplished by the associate student members of KPC (Kagoshima-Keizai University Parapsychology Club) and Hagio.The subjects used a deck of Zener cards and Perceptron, a portable-type machine for testing ESP. Each of two experiments was accompanied by a laboratory-room ESP testing for comparison. In Experiment 1,in the Zener Card series five subjecs completed 20 runs yielding the deviation +16 in the mountain-top condition on the one hand, and -7 in the laboratory for comparison on the other hand, the difference being marginal for statistical significance (CR=1.79,P=.08). In Experiment 2,in the Perceptron series nine subjects completed 36 runs giving a score with 36 of extra chance, significant at .01 level, its difference from the score for comparison being significant (P=.05). However, we could not see a significant score/difference in Perceptron series of Experiment 1 and in Zener Card series of Experiment 2. In all, our restults were supportive to the hypothesis that mountain-tops often provided a proper condition for the manifestation of psi.

The symposium of the 29th annual conference was hels on the topic of "Memory and Parapsychology". S.Hagio presented his experiments of investigating parapsychological effects in associative memory process, referring to the three important results by previous researchers. N.Ohta, who is the Japanese authority of episodic memory, introduced his experiments of the word-completion test he made to see a priming effect. His results show that the reproduction of the once-learned word is better when together with a low-associated concomitant word than a high-associated one. A.Onda discussed the omnipresent and transcendent field of transmitting information from his background of creativity psychology. O.Watanuki discussed the memory hierarchy and ultra-high density recording technology of computers and its relation to parapsychology.

Active discussions were developed on the topics of episidic memory, the memory process and creativity, the subliminal effect, and so forth.
