Sensory test carried out in the clinic is examined with the help of tools, for example, tuning fork, tube or brush, at prezent. To realize the QST, we have done the evaluation experiment with the prototype of the instrument. Hot and cold sensation stimulus probe, adjusting the temperature by controlling the current flowing to the peltier element. it can be presented to the temperature of 50℃ from 5. Result of the evaluation experiment prototype clinical KUMAMOTO University Hospital, patients were shown to result proportion of peple found at all temperatures is lower than that of the healthy subjects. Next, vibration perception stimulation probe generates a vibration by cimbining the sprong and the electomagnetic coil. Itcan generate a vibration force of almost the same as vibration force of vibration perception test tuning gork. It is possible to increase and decrease the vibration. The challenge of the future is that it makes up the development efforts scheme aimed at commercialization.

A self-organizing map (SOM) is one of the neural network models to develop a feature map, which visualizes a data structure of the applied patterns. In this article, development of a user-friendly designed application for mobile devices is tried. In order to display a feature map on the screen at that time, several popular touch gestures such as swipe, pinch and tap are introduced for users to make scroll in any directions, magnify its appearance, and provide further information, respectively. Once a prototype is completed successfully on the emulator, it is implemented on the tablet computer. And it is confirmed that it works well as intended in advance.

In recent years, a variety of manufacturing is being developed. In the factory production line, an automatic inspection system with lower cost and higher precision is needed. Many inspection systems use image processing. However, generally the inspection system using image processing cannot be examined in certain optical condition, i.e., room light or sunlight can greatly affect the performance. Another problem is high cost for capital investment of the inspection system. In order to solve these problems, an image processing method using the YCbCr color space characteristics and cyan light is proposed. Also, an inexpensive system for its implementation is developed. Finally, the inexpensive image processing inspection system for reducing the influence of ambient light can be realized.

This research proposes a new vehicle speed measuring system based on image processing technique. Generally, in order to detect the vehicle from image taken in dark circumstance, expensive camera is needed. However, this system needs only a cheap camera, like digital camera and iPhone camera. Thereby, a small device used image processing is substituted for speed gun. By controlling the shutter speed of camera, a bright line which comes from the headlamp of a moving vehicle is appeared in the picture. Moreover, by a process of projective transformation, from even the image taken from the slant, the vehicle speed can be measured. Therefore, this system can be used as speed gun. In this work, an algorithm depend on this feature is developed. Experiment result shows a reasonable measuring value.

This paper aimed to propose a body parts 3D mesh data construction method by using a consumer 3D camera. Different from a dedicated measurement stereo camera, the optical axes of a consumer use 3D camera is installed several meters in front of the lens in order to give a sense of reality of human being’s visual characteristic. The simulation shows that the proposed method constructs a correct 3D mesh shape of body parts surface.
