Underactuated manipulators have some passive joints in general and have fewer actuators than the degrees of freedom. These have the advantages, such as light weighting of controlled objects, cost or energy reduction, and compactification because of the small number of actuators. On the other hand, these systems have complex structural characteristics and require angle control of the manipulator with only a few inputs. To address this problem, Ichida et al. proposed fuzzy energy switching for three-link underactuated manipulator. In this research, we designed an angular control simulation of three-link underactuated manipulator using the energy switching method. Here, we introduce fuzzy inference method into this system with MATLAB/Simulink.

Underactuated manipulators have some passive joints. Usually, General manipulators have more than an actuator in joint. Underactuated manipulators need to use more complex control than general manipulators. But, reducing the number of actuators brings some advantages such as light waiting, energy saving and cost reduction. In this paper, we try to constitute an experimental environment for planar two-DOF underactuated manipulators. In addition, we introduce a digital signal processing system. Here we design this system using MATLAB/Simulink that is a numerical analysis software. The effectiveness of this proposal method is illustrated with some experiments.

Underactuated manipulators is a manipulator that does not have actuators installed in some of its joints, unlike conventional manipulators. Although the control becomes more complex, the number of actuators can be reduced, making it possible to reduce weight, energy consumption, and costs compared to conventional manipulators. This paper describes the construction and performance evaluation of a real-time control environment for a two-DOF underactuated manipulators to confirm the effectiveness of the energy region switching method, a control method for underactuated manipulators. The system is constructed using MATLAB/Simulink and Arduino IO.

本論文では、海底探査のための水中ロボットの新しい推進機構を紹介する。現在、実在の魚類から着想を得た様々なタイプの生物模倣ロボットが研究されており、それらと異なる、エビの遊泳から着想を得たエビ型遊泳ロボットの推進機構を提案する。エビの遊泳脚を用いた遊泳に着目し、その動きを応用したパドル型の推進方式を開発した。開発した試作機を用いた推進運動の実験結果を示し、推進力の有効性を評価した。

In this paper, we propose an application improvement to enhance the quality of the plastic model assembly experience. Previously, we created a plastic model assembly support application using Unity that recognizes plastic model runners, highlights recommended parts for assembly, and guides users to the next part. This time, we will work on improving the UI and visualizing the assembly procedure, which were identified as issues. We confirmed the improvement of the user experience by implementing a highly usable UI with animations showing the assembly procedure and conducting experiments.
