Deafness is classified 3 kinds according to the region where impediment occurs, i. e. conductive deafness, perceptive deafness and mixed deafness.
When an impediment exists in a part of the ou ter, middle ear of between window and sensory cells in the inner ear, this is called conductive deafness. This conductive deafness is the most of the schoolchildren's and students' deafness, which is able to be improved with chemical or surgical method.
When an impediment ex ists along the course of the sensory cells of the inner ear, auditory nerves, central path of the auditory sense and the cerebral coitex, this is called perceptive deafness: This perceptive deafness is unable to be improved by nowadays modern medicine.
When both of the conductive and perceptive system are impeded, this is called mixed deafness. This mixed deafness is able only to be improved in some degree by m odern medicine.
The deafness of schoolchildren or students are not so many, and the ratio of perceptive deafness in them are fewer, but it is very miserable the future of patients suffe red from high degree perceptive deafness.
Moreover, there are n ot few infants who became deaf-persons before entering school.
Therefore, the author has studied the treatment method how to rescue the per ceptive deafpersons and infants before to be deaf-mutes.
In spite of the treatmeat method be ing insufficient, the author has experienced that many patients rescued in some degree. Therefore, the author will report the treatment method and heartily hope for doctors to try this method practically and to rescue the poor patients.
Moreover, in order to know the results of this treatment method, it is insufficient only to see the results of schoolchildren and students, so the author will mention of not only those but also the results of deafness of adults and senile.
I will report except contraption and conclusion on account of too short time to report.
