Chinese (Orienta1) medicine is called Zui-Sho (_??__??_) Treatment. Sho(_??_)means a disease symptom or syndrome in general which appears as an abnormal physical condition of a patient. Sho (_??_) is decided with following (four) methods: (_??__??__??_)Inspection (_??_: visual observation), Ausculation(_??_: auditory symptoms), Interrogation (_??_: questioning about case history) and Dalpation(_??_: taking the pulse. Among these, the most important method to make a diagnosis of each meridian is palpation (pulse diagnosis). The emptiness(_??_: restrained condition and fullness (_??_: excited condition)of meridian points are dccided by the pulse diagnosis on the arteries running in the hands and feet of the patient. And the most popular pulse diagnosis is the one on the radial artery.
