    Regarding damage risk reduction techniques which are important for enhancing reliability of heat transfer tube low-alloy steel dissimilar metal weld of boiler, effective damage risk reduction techniques were researched by microstructure observation, FEM analysis, and creep tests. As the results, it was shown that adoption of HIG 370, welding consumable that can prevent growth of precipitates, prohibition of repair welding, and upgrade of low alloy steel material were effective damage risk reduction techniques.
