    ポリ乳酸は成形条件や成形後の熱処理により結晶性を変えることができる結晶性高分子である. 結晶性はポリ乳酸の分解速度や機械的性質に影響を及ぼすことは前報で報告した. また, ポリ乳酸をプラズマ処理することにより蒸留水との濡れ性が向上することも報告した. 本実験では, ポリ乳酸の細胞応答を改良することを目的として, 結晶性がポリ乳酸と疑似体液との濡れ性に及ぼす影響について検討した.
    ポリ乳酸の結晶化度が高くなると表面自由エネルギーが高くなり, 高い表面自由エネルギーを有する疑似体液との付着エネルギーが向上したものと考えられる. これらのことから, ポリ乳酸の結晶化度を制御することにより種々の細胞に対応した細胞応答を制御できると思われる.

    In recent years, many ceramics with various kinds of properties have appeared on the market. These ceramics are employed for a few mechanical and electronic parts. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the machining performance of machinable ceramics which have been newly developed. The machining performance of machinable ceramics is investigated and is discussed from view point of the relation between the flank wear of tool edge and the roughness of machined surface on the workpiece. The tools were K10 sintered carbide and CBN. In cutting tests by turning, the cutting speed was varied from 50 m/min to 200 m/min. The flank wear was measured by a tool makers microscope, and worn parts of the tools were observed with the SEM.
    The results obtained are as follows:
    (1) In the finish cutting for machinable ceramics, the best cutting condition was obtained as cutting speed of 50 m/min, feed 0.025 mm/rev, depth of cut 0.2 mm by tool of WC sintered carbide, and these condition for CBN tool was cutting speed of 100 m/min, feed 0.025 mm/rev, depth of cut 0.1 mm.
    (2) Tool life of CBN tool was larger than WC sintered carbide.
    (3) The cutting force increased at high speed cutting.
    (4) The chamfer angle of -15 on the tool edge gives the best surface-finish and the long tool life.

    マガディアイト [Na1.05Si7O14.5・4.6H2O・0.11NaOH] を170℃で飽和水蒸気下で水熱合成した。NaOHで洗浄し, 吸着しているNaOHをHC1で洗浄して得られた合成マガディアイト (Na1.05Si7O14.5・4.6H2O (100 MA) ) をさらにHC1で処理し, 次のようなNa+~H+形マガディアイトを得た (Na0.68H0.37Si7O14.5・4.6H2O (65 MA) , Na0.52H0.53Si7O14.5・4.6H2O (50MA) , Na0.32H0.73Si7O14.5・4.6H2O (30 MA) , H1.05Si7O14.5・4.6H2O (0MA) ) 。これらのNa+~H+形マガディアイトとアルカリ金属イオンおよび2価陽イオン (Li+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Co2+, Pb2+) の塩化物, 硝酸銀, LiOHおよびKOHとのイオン交換反応を25℃でバッチ法で検討した。
    塩化物および硝酸塩では, 水溶液中の金属イオンとマガディアイトの層間のNa+イオンは迅速にイオン交換した。層間のH+イオンはイオン交換反応には関与しなかったが, Na+イオンを活性化し, イオン交換反応速度および反応率の増加をもたらした。水酸化物では, 酸性度の低いが水溶液中のOH-イオンと水を生成しながらイオン交換が進行していくと考えられる。
    水溶液からのイオンの除去率はすべてのイオンに対し50MA付近で大きかった。

    In clinical levels, the prosthetic restoration of edentulous mandibles with severe alveolar ridge atrophy cause numerous problems.
    This report concerns a successful case in which the root form Shape Memory Implant was used Perio Root Implant(P.R.I.).
    In this case, five pieces of PT type of P.R.I. were implanted between left and right mental foramens.
    These implants were combined to the fixed removable bridge by samarium-cobalt magnets.
    The patient has been healthy for 3 years and 6 months since the operation. The PT type of P.R.I.bulges and expands at one-third of the apical area by the shape memory function after implantation.This is an osteo-integrated type implant which is expected to obtain good primary fixation and continue supporting occlusal forces.
    There are four kinds of P.R.I., P-type, PS-type,PI-type, and PT-type. They are used according to the condition of the clinical case.
    In conclusion, the type of P.R.I. is useful for prosthetic restoration of Anodontia.

    There are so many approaches to discuss the characteristics of Space organization in the city and the region.
    Analysis fon the facade of structure which compose the city and the region is a kind of approaches to recognize the characteristics of the city and the region.
    The matirials of the facade, elevation of structures and direction of circulations will change the density, transition, flow and etc. of space.
    Koyasan Kongobuji Temple area which is called religious town was discussed as the study area to find ont quality of space organization.
    Space sence which peoples recognize in visnally and mentally is classified in three criterion-Open, semiopen, close in conceptually.
    The degree of closing in this area, the element was recognized as “enclosure”, “dark” and “mental coercion” and substance was recognized as architecture, tree, mountain, sun light and materials of the facade.
    Organization from element to substance was analyzed through the highet of elevation, intensity of illumination and distribution of materials.

    Recently, because the micro-machine is noticed and electronic equipments are made much lighter and smaller, the demand for micro materials is increasing. However the mechanical properties data of the micro materials obviously run short and the evaluation method of micro materials is different according to the researcher. Therefore, the establishment of the test method for the micro materials is very necessary. In this study, fatigue tests were carried out using SUS304 thin sheets with thicknesses of 20μm. The specimens were manufactured using electrical discharge machining (EDM). Except for EDM specimens, the specimens of whom the EDM surface was polished by alumina abrasives were prepared. As the results, it was seen that the fatigue lives of polishing specimens were longer than those of EDM specimens. The fatigue crack origins of polishing specimens were almost inclusion.

The researches for elucidating the mechanical properties of micro materials have been carried out. However the mechanical properties data of the micro materials obviously run short and the evaluation method of micro materials is different according to the researcher. Therefore, the establishment of the test method for the micro materials is very necessary. In this study, SUS304 thin sheets which thicknesses are 20μm were used. Specimens were manufactured using electrospark machining method and photo-etching method, and fatigue tests were carried out. As the results, it was seen that fatigue lives of electrospark machining specimens and photo-etching specimens were the identical order. The fatigue crack origins were inside and side of specimen.

    AP liner composing of hydroxyapatite and zinc oxide(Taihei Chemical Industrial comp., Osaka)was developed for the purpose of a liner material.To evaluate a cell toxity and a harm to the vital pulp tissue, both an in vivo and an in vitro study.
    In an in vitro study, a lined L-cell was used(adopted)for a cell toxity screening test.L-cells were cultured in α-MEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and antibiotics. After 24 hours of subculture, test materials of 0.2g were incubated in the medium after sterilization. The number of the cells were counted by an electronic cell counter every 24 hours by trypsinization. Although carboxyrate cement and zinc oxide eugenol cement affected the cell growth, AP liner did not significantly suppress a cell growth and activity comparing with control culture.
    In an in vivo study,10 dogs (40 canine teeth,20 of each for control and experimentation)were performed under general anesthesia and then sacrificed at 2 weeks and 4 weeks after operation. The specimens were made in the routine manner after decalcification.
    Congestion due to operation was observed but no other change was recognized at 2 weeks and no obvious change was observed at 4 weeks.
    AP liner had no harm to the vital pulp tissue comparing with a calcium hydroxyoxide liner(dycal)on zinc phosphate cement(elite cement 100).
    AP liner has a enough mechanical strength to reconstruct a cavity and to give a retention form.Judging from these results, we concluded that AP liner had no toxity and harm to the living cells either in vivo or in vitro and that was suitable material as a liner of a cavity.

Therefore, the establishment of the test method for the micro materials is very necessary. In this study, SUS304 thin sheets with thicknesses of 10μm and 20μm were used. Specimens were manufactured using electro-spark machining. Afterwards, the machined surface was polished. The fatigue tests were carried out using these specimens. As the results, it was seen that variation in fatigue lives of specimen with thickness of 10μm was larger than that with thickness of 20μm.

    Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) membrane carrier composites were implanted into the dorsal subcutaneous tissues of rats. The carriers were fibrous collagen membrane (FCM) and fibrous glass membrane (FGM). The carriers were implanted as controls. Each composite was removed after 1, 2 and 3 weeks and was studied by histological observations. BMP-FCM and BMP-FGM induced bone tissues in a process that resembled an endochondral ossification mode. But the FCM system induced bone formation through a direct ossification mode. BMP-carrier composites differentiate immature mesenchymal cells to either osteogenetic or chondrogenetic cells or both, depending on the physico-chemical nature of the carrier that affected the microenvironment for cell differentiation.

    Collagen bead carriers with bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) were implanted in the rat dorsal subcutaneous tissues in order to study and compare the osteoinductive capacity and histological patterns. The carriers were wet (CBw) and dry collagen beads (CBd) and of round star shaped varieties. The carrier alone was implanted as a control. Each composite and its surrounding tissue were removed 1, 2 and 3 weeks later and were studied by routine histology.
    BMP-CBd induced bone tissue in a process that resembled endochondral ossification mode BMP-CBd showed an early initiation of the process.This system also induced bone formation through a direct ossification mode. One the other hand, BMP-CBw induced bone formation in a process resembling intramembranous ossification. BMP-collagen bead composites induced immature mesenchymal cells to become either osteogenetic or chondrogenetic cells or both, depending on the shape of the carrier that affected the microenvironment for cell differentiation.

    The distribution of multinucleated giant cells (MGCs) and osteoclasts after intraosseous implantation of synthetic hydroxyapatite (HA) was studied using light microscope and histomorphometry. HA dried at 200℃(2 HA) and HA sintered at 1,250℃ (12HA )were used in this study. Light microscopically, MGCs in response to 2 HA showed a ruffled border-like structure at the interface between 2 HA and MGCs,but MGCs in response to 12 HA did not. The amount of new bone formation after intraosseous implantation of 2 HA was similar to that after intraosseous implantation of 12 HA. However, MGC count in response to 2 HA was higher than in respose to 12 HA, especially 2~ 6 weeks after intraosseous implantation of HA. Moreover, osteoclast count on new osseous tissue without HA implantation was apparently higher than after implantation of 2 HA or 12 HA. These results suggest that MGCs responding to HA do not effect new bone formation around the intraosseous implanted HA. New osseous tissue remodeling,after implantation of HA, is either on a low level or delayed when compared with tissue not HA implantated.

Therefore, the establishment of the test method for the micro materials is very necessary. In this study, the tensile strength tests were carried out using the bonding wires of Cu, Al/Si 1% and Au as the material. Its diameter was 20μm. As the results, in the case of all materials, Young's modulus for gage length of 60mm agreed with that for gage length of 20mm. Therefore, it was found that Young's modulus could be measured with high accuracy. The mean of tensile strength for the bonding wires of Al/Si 1% with gage length of 60mm decreased 3% in comparison with that with gage length of 20mm. But the means of tensile strength for the bonding wires of Cu and Au were unaffected by gage length.

    循環型経済社会の構築には, ものづくりを担う生産も循環型生産システムに転換を図らねばならない。その為には, リユースやリサイクルのしやすい商品 (エコ商品) に変えるなど商品戦略の転換を図ると同時に, インバースマニュファクチャリングを組み入れた-連の回収システム構築が不可欠である。
    この実現には法的, 税制面での支援制度も重要であるが, 生産管理においても, 回収システムの品質評価, 生産性評価及び工程管理面でのリユース・リサイクル製品の部品供給管理手法の確立が望まれる。本論文でその理論的考察を試みた。
    また, 循環生産工場 (静脈フロー) の品質評価や生産性評価の結果をリユース・リサイクル設計にフィードバックし, 商品企画や商品設計に反映して初めて循環型生産システムを実現することが出来る。
