The deflection w of the welded plates were measured and the curvatures were determined corresponding to ∂²w/∂x², which were obtained by graphical differentiation of deflection curves. The strains were found from the curvature (ε_x=-z ∂²w/∂x² etc.) and the corresponding stresses in the plastic scope wire determined. The elastic residual strains and stresses were measured and the max. intensity was 20 kg/mm², in the case where both edges were welded. The distribution of the residual strains in the plate sections of the welded and permanently deformed portion have been analysed by the bending theory corresponding to similar conditions.

The MPEG-2 MP@HL decoder LSI has been developed for Japanese BS digital broadcast and US terrestrial digital broadcast. It can handle 1 HDTV and 1 SDTV, or 4 SDTV simulataneous decoding, and also have a decoding capability for seamless switching. The BS digital broadcast receiver is realized with 8-PSK demodulator LSI, this MPEG-2 decoder LSI and back end processing LSI which consists of video signal processor and graphics processor.

　当院は、亜急性期病床、回復期リハビリテーション病棟を併せ持つ「自院完結型」病院である。46種類あるパスの内、リハビリが介入するパスは37.0％、達成目標にリハビリ関連項目のあるパスが21.7％ある。達成目標にリハビリ関連項目のあるパスの達成目標の中で、リハビリ関連項目は52.1％を占めている。リハビリの関連するパスの領域は、脳血管疾患や整形外科疾患などの狭い分野に限られるものの、その中では極めて重要な位置を占めている。リハビリに関する行為も標準化を進め、医療の質向上を図る必要がある。また、DPCなどの包括払い制度の中でもリハビリは出来高払いであり、病院経営の面からも重要である。さらに、大腿骨頚部骨折の地域連携パスでは、医師とともにリハビリスタッフが重要な役割を果たしている。地域連携のシステム作りが急務である。

Numbers of all ducks caugth in the three duck hunting refuges of Shinhama, Koshigaya and Hama-Rikyu since 1929 were tabled here. The catch rates (number of catch for one species/number of total catch x 100), by year or by refuge show interesting alternation in the predominat species in the duck catches. After around 1965 the pintail Anas acuta has remarkably ascended in the catch rate, becoming predominant, at the both refuges of Shinhama and Koshigaya. On the contrary, the teal Anas crecca, which was formery predominant, has remarkably decreased at the said refuges. Also, the results of duck censuses at the Shinobazunoike show similar phenomenon, increase of pintails and decrease of teals in recent years. Besides the above, the recent increases of wigeons Anas penelope and pochards Aythya ferina in Shinhama, shoverllers Anas clypeata in Koshigaya and pochards in Shinobazunoike should be noted.

ラットの結腸の形態および内部環境に対する盲陽切除,食物センイ摂取の影響について調べた.食物センイとして小麦ふすまを用いた.ラットを1)精製飼料(fiber free diet, FF飼料)-sham-operated群, 2) FF飼料-盲腸切除群, 3) FF+10%小麦ふすま(WB飼料)-sham-operated群, 4) WB飼料-盲腸切除群の4群に分け, 5週間飼育した.その結果,次のような知見を得た.
(1) ラットの成長速度に対して,飼料および盲腸切除の影響は全く認められなかった.
(2) たんぱく質のみかけの消化率は盲腸切除,WB飼料摂取により低下した.
(3) 糞の排泄量,糞塊数はともにFF飼料に比べWB飼料摂取により多くなり,また, sham-operatedラットに比べ盲腸切除ラットのほうで多くなった.
(4) 飲水量に対して,盲腸切除および飼料の影響は認められなかった.
(5) FF飼料-盲腸切除ラットの飼料の消化管通過時間(TT)は, FF飼料-sham-operatedラットのそれの約2/3に短縮された.しかし, WB飼料-盲腸切除ラットのTTとWB飼料-sham-operatedラットのそれとの間には差は認められなかった.
(6) ADFの排泄量はsham-operatedラットと盲腸切除ラットの間で差は認められなかったが, NDFの排泄量は前者に比べ後者のほうで有意に増加した.
(7) 飼料中の小麦ふすまは盲腸切除ラットよりもsham-operatedラットのほうでより腸内細菌の作用を受けたことが,糞中の小麦ふすまの走査型電子顕微鏡像より認められた.
(8) 盲腸の組織重量は飼料の影響を全く受けなかったが,内容物のpHはWB飼料を摂取したラットのほうがFF飼料を摂取したラットのそれよりも低かった.
(9) 結腸の重量と長さ,および結腸の粘膜のたんぱく質量とDNA量に対して,飼料および盲腸切除の影響は認められなかった.内容物のpHはWB飼料を摂取したラットのほうが低かったが,盲腸切除の影響は認められなかった.
(10) 結腸の粘膜を走査型電子顕微鏡で観察したが,盲腸切除および飼料による影響は認められなかった.

Very little information is provided with OTC drugs and unlike prescription products,they do not have package inserts or interview forms.The purpose of this study was to examine the stability of 5 acetaminophen-containing OTC drugs by observing temporal changes in their characteristic physico-pharmaceutical parameters (hardness,mass,elution,drug migration) when they were preserved under conditions in which temperature and humidity were altered.From the results,it was assumed that 3 of the 5 drugs were affected by temperature and humidity,and that it was difficult to maintain stability when they were taken out of their packages.In particular,the drugs seemed to be more adversely affected the higher the temperature was and changes in parameters were greater.Also,the results of an elution test conducted after 24 hours of storage suggested that there was deterioration in 3 of the products.
In conclusion,our findings clearly showed that patients need adequate explanation on how to keep OTC drugs.

　当院では、大腿骨頚部骨折に対するパスを手術法、受傷時居住地、受傷前移動能力によって10種類のパスに分けている。大腿骨頚部外側（転子部）骨折に対しては、ターゴンネイルを用いた骨接合術を行い、ターゴンネイルAパスは、受傷時の居住地が自宅で、受傷前の移動能力が独歩（杖なし歩行）か杖歩行だった患者に用いている。今回25例を対象に、移動に関するアウトカム8項目に対するアウトカム評価を行った。アウトカムの達成率は、車椅子乗車・平行棒内歩行開始・歩行器歩行自立・杖歩行開始の4項目で50％を超えていた。達成日の中央値は、平行棒内歩行開始・歩行器歩行自立・杖歩行開始の3項目が設定日より早く、車椅子乗車が設定日通りだった。歩行器歩行自立・杖歩行開始・杖歩行自立・外泊の4項目で最終アウトカムと有意な相関があった。アウトカム評価はパスの妥当性の評価であり、歩行器歩行自立・杖歩行自立の2段階でのパス変更が示唆された。最終アウトカムと相関のあるアウトカムはクリニカルインディケーターと捉えることができ、医療の質の評価に重要である。また、この結果を地域連携パスの成績評価の比較対照とすることも可能と考える。

Endoparasitic mites on anatid birds were investigated. The survey was carried out in Shinhama, Chiba prefecture and in Koshigaya, Saitama prefecture during the period from November, 1967 to February, 1968. The total of 489 anatid birds consisted of 6 species were examined. 1) Two species of nasal mites, which have not been reported in Japan, were collected from the anatid birds. These were Rhinonyssus rhinolethrum (Trouessart, 1895) and Trispeleognathus womersleyi (Fain, 1955). 2) The six species of host birds examined were pintail, Anas acuta acuta Linne, 1758; teal, Anas crecca crecca Linne, 1758; wigeon, Anas penelope Linne, 1758; shoveller, Anas clypeata Linne, 1758; spot-billed duck, Anas poecilorhyncha zonorhyncha Swinhoe, 1866 and mallard, Anas platyrhynchos platyrhynchos, Linne, 1758. In addition, domestic ducks were examined in the two different places of the survey. 3) Rhinonyssus rhinolethrum was collected from 169 birds of 489 examined (34.6% of infestation rate), which were distributed to all 6 species in the survey. The infestation rate of wigeon by this mite was highest (73.5%). These of pintail, teal, shoveller, spot-billed duck, and mallard were 40.5%, 20.6%, 17.6%, 11.1% and 2.2% respectively. Trispeleognathus womersleyi was collected only from pintail and mallard. Their infestation rates were 16.4% and 4.4% respectively. 4) Majority of pintail and wigeon were found to be infested by less than 5 mites of Rhinonyssus rhinolethrum or Trispeleognathus womersleyi if infested. 5) Of the 171 domestic ducks examined, 84 were used as decoy birds, among which 8 were found to be infested by nasal mites. The rest of the domestic ducks were found not to be infested by them.

高齢者では、血清クレアチニン（S-Cr）値が基準値内であっても、糸球体濾過量（GFR）が低下している患者が多く存在しているため、腎排泄性薬剤の血中濃度が上昇し、様々な副作用が起こりやすくなる。しかし、高齢者では腎機能の検査が行われていない患者や検査は受けているが検査値を保険薬局に提示しない患者も多いと考えられる。したがって、保険薬局で患者自身が簡便な腎機能検査を行ったうえで、薬剤師がその評価をすることができれば、腎機能に応じた適切な薬物投与設計を提案でき、未然に過量投与による副作用を回避できる可能性がある。　そこで八王子薬剤センター薬局では、保険薬局での実施に向けて、試験的に介護老人保健施設の入居高齢者22 名にS-Cr 自己簡易測定を実施し、推定クレアチニンクリアランス（eCCr）を算出することで、本測定法の有用性および高齢者の腎機能と腎排泄性薬剤の処方実態について検討した。　S-Cr 自己簡易測定は、高齢者でも薬剤師の補助により全被験者に実施でき、簡便に腎機能を評価できる検査法であると考えられた。また実際にeCCr で評価した腎機能は、S-Cr 値では基準値であったにも関わらず12 名中11 名は50mL/min ≧ eCCr であった。その中の5 名で腎排泄性薬剤の過量投与が考えられたため、医師に処方量変更を提案し、すべて減量が行われた。高齢者ではS-Cr 値が測定されていなかったり、測定されていてもeCCr などを算出して正しく腎機能を評価されていない患者が多く、腎排泄性薬剤の過量投与が見過ごされている患者が相当数存在しているものと推定された。腎排泄性薬剤を処方されている高齢者においては腎機能検査の実施が不可欠であると考えられ、S-Cr 自己簡易測定法を用いることで、今後は保険薬局においても簡便に腎機能の評価ができ、腎機能に応じた腎排泄性薬剤の用量・用法の提案が可能であると考えられた。

The second generation HUSE LSI chip set developed by Toshiba and Nippon Motorola is described. It consists of five digital picture processing chips, one audio signal processing chip, and one analog matrix IC. This new chip set has achieved high cost-effectiveness due to optimal circuit-system design and advanced 0.8μm CMOS custom LSI technology.
