W. M. Vories Co. edited scrap books as a design source for their practices. This paper is to illustrate the way of so-called “Style-Adaptation”, through the following 3 analyses on the’SPANISH‘volume. 1) Searching original figures in U. S. periodicals, 2) Analysis on editorial policy of layouts, 3) Attempting formal comparison with designed works.
Through these analyses, the followings were concluded. 1) This book is supposed to be edited shortly after 1930, collecting figures of 1919-30, 2) The figures were intendedly ordered as to show, various comparisons, 3) Some of them show significant similarity to designed works.

本論文では、ヴォーリズが住宅を設計する際に居間に備える調度品の１つとして想定していたピアノについて、（音楽の演奏を主たる目的とした場ではなく）日常生活を営む場にもち込まれたものとして捉え、生活文化のなかに位置づけることを試みる。ヴォーリズは、1905年に英語科教員として来日し、その後、教え子と近江兄弟社を興して滋賀県近江八幡を拠点に、関西圏や軽井沢をはじめ、日本国内各地に教会や教育機関、住宅などを設計した。近江兄弟社では、米国製ピアノやオルガンの輸入・販売も行っている。ヴォーリズは日本の音楽文化と深い関わりがあるが、音楽学の研究対象となることはなかった。　本稿ではまず、ヴォーリズの住宅設計観が表された著作『吾家の設計』と『吾家の設備』をもとに、ヴォーリズにとってピアノが家庭に音楽を囲むひと時をもたらすために必要な楽器であったことを整理する。そして、建築（文化）史の先行研究でヴォーリズが参照したとされるアメリカのインテリア雑誌“Architectural Digest”においても、居間にピアノを備えた住宅が繰り返し紹介されているものの、室内装飾の呈を示すピアノが多く、ヴォーリズのピアノに対する理念とは相容れないことを指摘する。　そのうえで、ヴォーリズの生い立ちに着目し、居間にピアノを備えるヴォーリズの住宅設計観の背景を、熱心なクリスチャンの家庭で育ったこと、米国で幼い頃から学校や所属する教会のオルガンを弾いていたこと、来日後も近江兄弟社の行事や設計を手がけた教会の献堂式で奏楽していたことに探っていく。ピアノを切り口にみていくと、ヴォーリズの住宅は建築学よりもアメリカンホームの文化史の概念に近いものであることがわかる。そして、ヴォーリズの住宅設計観にとり込まれたピアノは、ヴォーリズ建築研究者山形氏が提唱する「生活学としての住宅設計」に通じる、生活文化を担う１つの道具として捉えられる。

“Habutae” fabric and silk bolting cloth were treated with organic silicon resin and the 1) amount of resin adhered 2) transmission degree of humidity 3) air permeability 4) water-proof 5) crease recovery were ascertained with the following results:
1. Less resin is adhered to the “Habutae” fabrics woven with the raw silk of greater size deviation than those of smaller size deviation.
2. The amount of adhered resin differs according to the type of formation or degree of density of fabrics. But in the case of the some fabric, if the number of treatment increases, so dose the adhered resin.
3. When treated with resin, a higher transmission degree of humidity is shown compared with the non-treated case.
4. The air permeability decreases as the amount of adhered resin increases.
5. The degree of water-proof improves in proportion as the adhered resin increases.
6. The ability for crease recovery increases in proportion as the amount of adhered resin increases.

本稿は，インタビュー調査に基づき，ゲイカップルにおける家計組織とパートナー関係を分析することによって，(1)レズビアンカップルと比較した際のゲイカップルの家計組織の特徴， (2)家計組織パターンと平等なパートナーシップとの関係，(3)同性愛者に対する差別が，ゲイカップルにおける家計組織や生活状況に与える影響について解明することを目的とする．分析の結果，(1)レズビアンカップルは共同管理型が典型的な家計組織パターンの一つであるのに対して，ゲイカップルは独立型が典型的な家計組織パターンであること，(2)家計組織の独立性は，平等なパートナーシップを保障するとは限らないこと，(3)同性愛者に対する差別がゲイカップルにおける生活の個別性の一因であることが解明された．

文部科学省が実施する全国学力・学習状況調査の「保護者に対する調査」「経年変化分析調査」には，経年変化分析調査が教科ごとに独立に実施されているため，保護者に対する調査のデータを活かしきることができないという課題がある。本稿は，その改善策として提案されている全国学力・学習状況調査の悉皆調査のデータを組み合わせ，多次元項目反応モデルと推算値法を利用して受検者の学力を再推定するという方法の有効性を，シミュレーションを用いて検討した。

結論として，この手法は下位集団の平均や標準偏差，SESと学力の相関係数，回帰分析の係数について，ほぼ適切に母集団のパラメータを復元できることが明らかになった。教科間の相関係数を過大推定する傾向は見られたものの，その誤差はMLEやEAP，あるいは素点を利用した場合に比べれば小さい。

This paper proposed a formula for calculating the residual crack width for RC column members. From experimental study for RC column members under bending and shear force, we modeled strain distribution of main reinforcement at maximum displacement and unloaded. Based on an assumption that crack width is the cumulative sum of the main reinforcement strain, the reduction of crack width in unloading is calculated from that model. The maximum residual crack width is determined by taking away that reduction from the crack width at maximum displacement. The crack width valued from this method gave close agreement with experimental result, so the calculation formula is developed by the method. The residual crack widths calculated by this formula underestimate the results in experimental studies.
