The history of Tohoku as "the Other" started a long time ago. By analyzing materials published between the end of Edo and World War II, Kawanishi (2001, 2007) indicated that Tohoku, the northern part of Honshu in Japan, has historically been depicted as a faraway place for savage, uncivilized and poor farmers. In other words, people who live in the center area of Japan perceived Tohoku as "the Other=them." This kind of "gaze" still exists in the modern mass media. The people who are represented as "the Other" are influenced by the socially constructed images when shaping their identities. Keeping this point in mind, this paper examines how the people from "Tohoku" area form their identities by interacting with other people and internalizing the media images of Tohoku. In this paper, the results of an active interview with people from Tohoku area are closely analyzed to look into their experiences as "the Other". All 29 interviewees (M: 13/F16) are from the Tohoku area and many of them live in Tokyo. The analysis shows the diversity and hybridity of "Tohoku." The existence of diverse "Japanese" shows that single, uniform "Japanese" do not exist anywhere. After all, "Japan" is, as Anderson said, only an "imagined community." This paper finally suggests that the new ways of representing local people and their culture can be found in alternative media practices. Hopefully, this short paper may also present an alternative way of narrating "Tohoku."

　本稿では、スポーツ領域における女性の商品化の問題を男性学の視点から検討した。この問題を検討するための事例として“セクシーラグビールール動画”、“女子プロ野球の美女９総選挙”、“プロ野球における女性の始球式” が取り上げられ、その内容が分析された。ワールドカップやプロリーグというホモソーシャルな場において、女性という存在はそもそも馴染まないか異質な存在である。そうした場に女性は受け入れられたが、その場に生じる違和感を緩和するために、女性はパロディ化されていた。さらに３つの事例における女性の表象には、異性愛主義を前提とする、女性に対する男性からの性的欲求、そして女性嫌悪が描かれていた。
　次に、伊藤による男らしさを示す三つの志向性（優越志向・権力志向・所有志向）と性的欲望との関係について検討した。これらの志向性が女性に向けられるとき、男らしさは異性に対する性的欲求として表れる。スポーツの実践が現代社会における男らしさを学ぶ場になっているとすれば、そして男らしさに異性への性的欲求が含まれているのであれば、現代の男たちはスポーツを通じて、異性への性的欲求を自覚し、再確認し、あるいは実現しようとしていることになる。男たちがスポーツを通じて異性への性的欲求を実現しようとしている例として、始球式に登場した女性タレントが男子中学生たちに取り囲まれる事例を示した。

いま，大学図書館では学生の主体的学修のための環境整備と教育的支援が求められている。帝京大学メディアライブラリーセンターでは「共読」をキーコンセプトに，＜共読ライブラリー＞という学修支援を目的とした読書推進プロジェクトを実施している。これは，「MONDO書架」「読書術コースウェア」「共読空間構築」「広報ツール制作とイベント」の4つのメニューを総合的に実施し「共読」をすすめ＜共読ライブラリー＞によるブランド強化を目指すものだ。この報告では2012年度から4年計画で始まったプロジェクトの初年度の中間報告と今後の展望を述べる。

Drama is considered to be an emerged spatio-temporal pattern of actors′ actions in front of audiences. From the viewpoint of system dynamics, there are two types of agents in the creative process of making a drama. One is a cluster of actors and the other is a stage director. The actors prepare for their roles. The stage director, on the other hand, gives them various instructions to direct the whole flow of their actions. In other words, making a drama is regarded as a dynamic process to form spatio-temporal patterns of actors′ behaviors and conversations that fits a given purpose, and it is controlled by the stage director making constraint conditions to the heterogeneous multi-agents (actors) who act various behaviors based on their own purposes or strategies. What is important is that the director dynamically changes his interpretation of actors′ performances through the creative process of a drama, receiving feedback on his own evaluation (of a work in the creative process). The purpose of this study is to describe a system dynamics of such a process of making a drama. For this purpose, we implemented a field study in which real rehearsals for public performance are observed in detail, and attempted quantitative analyses on the dynamics in the creative process of a drama based on the theory of system dynamics. The relationships between director′s instructions and variances or fluctuations in the time series of actors′ performances, which are the responses to the instructions, were analyzed systematically. As a result, it was found that information embedded in timing was important to construct the reality of a drama. It can be said that well-balanced order was realized in the theatrical production as the whole system proceeded through rehearsals, although individual fluctuation of timing was included in performances by each actor.
