空間認識力を高めるには図学が有用であるとされている。またその判定にはMCTを初めとして幾多の方法があげられている。本研究では空間認識力を判定する問題として各種の資格試験問題、各図学担当者の工夫した問題を解析し、それらを組み合わせることによりさらに有用な判定問題の開発のための検討を行った。具体的には日本機械設計技術者3級試験問題、CAD利用技術者2級試験問題、市販の機械製図問題集、国際技術者試験トレーニングマニュアル等で用いられている問題を選別して、それぞれの特徴を分析した。
結果としては空間認識力を判定する為の問題は学生達に興味をひかせる問題、想像力をかき立てる問題であることが判明した。このような問題を多数集め実際に解かすことが図学教育の活性化に役立つと考えられる。

    The questionnaire was carried out in order to examine the relationship between design experience and job ability of the engineer which belongs to occupational cohort. The data were statistically analyzed by using the multivariate analysis software (JUSE Stat Works ver4.0). Job ability of the mechanical design engineer is classified into six clusters. The cluster in which the job ability is maintained high level with no relation on the design experience is considered the field which the university education should shoulder.

職業集団に属する技術者の設計やCAD の経験と空間把握 力との関係を知るために、社団法人日本機械設計工業会所属企業の技術者に対するアンケート調査及び仮想切断面実形視テスト（Mental Cutting Test，以降MCT）を実施した。その結果，設計経験が長いとMCT の平均値が高い傾向が認められた．また男性技術者に比べ女性技術者のMCT の平均値が大幅に低いことを明らかにした．

In this paper, we introduce the practical use of Google Forms in the examination course for Mechanical Design Engineers Grade 3. We consider it an important goal to improve teaching methods to increase the number of successful mechanical design engineer candidates from the Aichi University of Technology. A clicker is often used in this context to enable a bidirectional lecture and enhance educational effects;however, it can be costly to use. Thus, we used Google Forms instead, enabling bidirectional lectures incorporating smartphones. A survey conducted at Aichi University of Technology found that bidirectional lectures incorporating smartphones were almost universally accepted by the students.

“Creative Exercise” is one of the most important articles in the course of technology educations at the universities and the colleges. In this paper, some trials for the creative exercises developed in Osaka Electro-Communication University are introduced ; those are (1) exercises in “Creative Design Engineering”, (2) studies and educations on robots, (3) executive plan of rescue-robot contest, and (4) supporting system for application for the qualifying examinations. Their results and effectiveness are also discussed.

At National Institute of Technology, Kure College, we have been working on an improvement of educational programs in order to cultivate students, who have obtained certain professional skills and can contribute to society and its changing demands and needs. As a core of our educational program, a course called Incubation Work has been operating since 2015. In Incubation Work, there are about sixty themes that are grouped into three categories: collaborative work with local communities, company collaboration and research. All of the students from the 1st to the 5th grade are required to take one Incubation Work theme and tackle that subject through a project-based learning approach. In this paper, we report on the evaluation of Incubation Work regarding the growth and changes of our students by scrutinizing the results of a student questionnaire on Incubation Work.
