Cellulose nanopaper was produced with 3-15 nm wide cellulose nanofibers, and they exhibited both high transparency and highly smooth surfaces, while retaining the light weight and high foldability of conventional paper. Therefore, cellulose nanopaper is one of the best candidate substrates for flexible electronics. In this article, we introduce their applications of future electronics such as nonvolatile memory, transistor arrays, organic solar cells, flexible antenna, and transparent conductive electrodes. Moreover, we also introduce the key parameters of developments for paper electronics.
