抄録

Colloidal products such as milk, sports drinks, lotions, inks and woodworking adhesives often aggregateand so their performance is degraded. When the particles aggregate, the texture and appearance becomeworse. For example, aggregated pigment particles in ink cause color defects, color unevenness, and cracking.Therefore, it is important to evaluate the dispersion stability of colloidal products. Zeta potential is avery useful parameter for evaluating the dispersion stability of colloids. Basic theory about zeta potentialmeasurement are introduced in this review.
