After the gradual changes of Chinese public housing institution, urban residents living in apartment houses began making their interior works in units of apartment houses before occupying their units. In this paper, we focused on these interior works done by the residents themselves. We drew conclusions after using HAYASHI Quantification Method as follows; (1) Residents' interior works are classified into four types. (2) Degrees of customers' realizations towards their initial planning are related with the changes of partitions walls and floor finishing in WC and kitchen. (3) Degrees of customers' satisfactions with the interior works are related with the changes of concealment to the pipes located in WC and kitchen, partition walls, and removal of water equipment.
