The authors’ previous study experimentally revealed CLT infill walls contributed to increase the lateral stiffness and strength of RC moment-resisting frames. The present study proposes analytical models with fiber elements to simulate the above experimental results and clarifies the effects of CLT infill walls on the seismic performance of the test specimens. The analytical simulations showed good agreement with the specimens’ performance curves. Furthermore, based on the analytical results, this study evaluates the beam stresses induced by punching shear caused by the rocking behavior of CLT panels. A simplified method is also proposed to briefly assess these beam stresses.
