Abstract
This report is concerned with the sorting capacity and the number of workers in an apple packing house, the basis of architectural planning of it. The approach of this study is similar to the previous paper, but concentrate on the differance between an orange packing house as the last paper. Concerning to sorting capacity, this report is suggested the rough estimating method by procedue as follows; yearly yield→yearly sorting quantity→sorting capacity, Between the yield and sorting quantity, the ratio of via packing house is small and instability, and between the sorting quantity and the capacity, the composision of apple's varieties and the existence of cold strage influence strongly on the capacity, It was found that the capacity is smaller under the existence of cold strage. Concerning to the number of workers, it was considered in relation between the capacity, the number has been large and its distribution has been scattered than the orange packing house cause by undeveloped mechanization and instability of working matters. In case of existence of cold strage, the number is large in ordinary time but inereasing rate is small in maximum sorting time under the same capacity.
