This reports on the programs and the textbooks on the built environment education for children provided by architectural organizations in the U.S., focusing on those having relations with school education.
Regarding the methodology, firstly, information on the websites of all organizations registered at ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN EDUCATION NETWORK and all AIA chapters was collected. Secondarily, the surveys by questionnaires were conducted.
Finally, the followings can be pointed out; the programs for K-8 classes and teachers are mostly related to school subjects and the curriculum content standards. And, architects often support the development of the program and the practice in schools.
