This study aims to clarify the distribution and the façade characteristics of roadside fireproof belt buildings in four prefectures of HOKURIKU region. The results are as follows; 1) We extracted 425 buildings as roadside fireproof belt buildings. 2) We classified them into 13 types as to architectural forms and 5 types as to facade characteristics. 3) We confirmed regionwide trend of types, on the other hand, differences of characteristics each municipalities.
