Disaster public housing for 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake was completed in March, 2020. Many of the dwelling units constructed for the Great East Japan Earthquake had living-access units. Living-access has the advantage of ease of community formation and monitoring, but care must be taken from the perspective of privacy protection.
