抄録
The preservation plan at Jonai-suwakoji district for groups of historic buildings in Kanegasaki, Iwate prefecture has been reported. In this plan, we have contrived some standards to conserve and sustain not only design of details but the spatial forms that consist of traditional houses, gardens and the others, which had been determined under the condition of the Eda era. We consider this concept is of great use for housing design with conservatism and modernity in similar historic areas.
