The emergency care system (emergency medical treatment information system) into which the information technology such as GIS, GPS is introduced with the each one rule body begins to be operated in the emergency medicine today as the communication information technology develops. This is thought to be a field where the examination is immediately required in the facilities arrangement plan in the region and the city planning field. The current state of the emergency medical treatment information system in present Chiba City is clarified in this research based on the emergency and rescue statistics of the Chiba Prefecture Chiba City which introduced the emergency medical treatment information system in advance of the whole country in 1999 fiscal year, and optimal location planning of complex of the emergency facilities and medical facilities is examined. In addition, the evaluation index in the emergency medical treatment information system introduction which suits various places is considered for the guideline of the compound use over the large area of the emergency medical treatment information system which uses WebGIS, GPS.
