It has been more than ten years since the new system of university started, the number of book stock in Ibaraki University Library increased by four times compared with the number ten years ago. Although the number of book stock increased rapidly, the number of user does not follow it. And yet there is a questin about the methode of book selection and we investigate the situation of useing books, tendency of reading, and percentage of utilization, we devoured to organize the orientation of book selection.
