Abstract
The nocardicin A-producing strain, Nocardia uniformis subsp. tsuyamanensis ATCC 21806, was found to produce five new antibiotics named nocardicins C, D, E, F, and G together with nocardicins A and B. These antibiotics were isolated from the culture broth by solvent extraction and column chromatography, and identified as new nocardicin-type antibiotics on the basis of physicochemical data.
