Abstract

N-Acetyl-6-O-phosphono-muramoyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine methyl ester and a variety of its 1-α-O-acyl derivatives were synthesized from benzyl 2-acetaimdo-2-deoxy-3-O-[D-1-(methoxycarbonyl)ethyl]-β-D-glucopyranoside. Their immunoadjuvant activity in guinea-pigs was examined.
