A new species of Aeginetia (Orobanchaceae), A. speciosa Nob.Tanaka & Paing is described. Aeginetia speciosa is similar to A. acaulis in spreading corolla lobes, one locular ovary, and two parietal placentas, but differs in its yellow and dark purple corolla lobes, glabrous portion of the corolla tube where filaments are attached, and red papillate filaments. In addition, A. sinensis Beck is recorded for the first time from Myanmar. A key to the species of Aeginetia presently occurring in Myanmar is provided.
