In order to clarity the sports vision capability of kendo player, we used sports vision test on soccer, baseball and volleyball players, whose sports vision capabilities are reported to be fine, to measure eight parameters which includes SVA (Static Visual Acuity), KVA (Kinetic Visual Acuity), DVA (Dynamic Visual Acuity), CS (Contrast Sensitivity), OMS (Ocular Motor Skill), DP (Depth Perception), VRT (Visual Reaction Time) and E/H (Eye/Hand Coordination).
For each parameter, we ranked every player of kendo, soccer, baseball and volleyball into 4 groups. By means of statistical analysis and comparison of each experimental result, we conclude that there are no defferences in SVA, KVA, CS, OMS, DP, VRT, E/H of each sport player while DVA of soccer and baseball players are higher than of kendo player.
It is suggested that sports vision capability of a kendo player is almost as good as those of soccer, baseball and volleyball players whose sports vision capacty is said to be fine except DVA.
